The Acropolis of Athens.

Famous personalities of the Acropolis

Saturday, 7 February, 2015

All societies and eras produce distinctive personalities in the spheres of politics, the intellect, the sciences and others, and are also projected through these figures. Through the Museum’s exhibits, the visitors will meet Peisistratos and his sons, Themistokles, Kimon, Perikles, Lycourgos, Herodes Attikos, and other personalities who played a significant role in shaping the Acropolis and the worship that took place there.

The gallery talk 'Famous personalities of the Acropolis' is part of the program Alternating Gallery Talks of the Acropolis Museum.
