Μοon: Its magic influence on the lives of the ancient Greeks

The Acropolis Museum celebrates August Full Moon on Saturday 13 August 2011 with extended opening hours from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight. Free entry for all visitors from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight.

On this occasion, Museum Archaeologist – Hosts will present visitors the role of the Moon in the daily lives of the ancient Greeks. Gallery talks will take place in the Parthenon Gallery from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight.

This event is part of the program “A Day at the Acropolis Museum”.
