The wild, mysterious and cool landscape of Samothrace has reached the Temporary Exhibition Gallery of the Acropolis Museum. Visitors will travel daily in the nature, the people and the island’s past, especially every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, together with the Museum’s Archaeologist - Hosts.

The gallery talk 'Samothrace. The mysteries of the Great Gods' is part of the program Permanent Gallery Talks of the Acropolis Museum and it is organized on the occassion of the homonym temporary exhibition.

Useful Information

On Sunday 20 December and on Sunday 27 December, the gallery talk 'Samothrace. The mysteries of the Great Gods' will not be held, due to the Museum's Christmas events.

Greek: every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, at 1 p.m.
English: every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, at 11 a.m.
French: every last Sunday of the month, at 11 a.m.
Duration: 50 minutes
Participation: Participation is limited to 40 visitors per session. Coupons are available same-day on a first-in first-served basis. For further details, please refer to the Information Desk at the Museum entrance.
The gallery talk is free of charge. Entrance to the temporary exhibition is free of charge.
Meeting point: Glass Floor in front of ticket check-in.

Groups (15 to 40 persons) can also follow the gallery talk ‘Samothrace. The Mysteries of the Great Gods’ in other days and hours (within Museum opening hours), upon telephone request and depending on the availability of Museum Archaeologist-Hosts.
