Figurine of seated Athena found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns. The goddess sits on a winged-back throne. Her schematically rendered hands rest on her knees. She is dressed in white chiton the folds of which are rendered in colour. Her head is adorned with a stephane on which a helmet’s crest is added. The black hair forms locks over the forehead, falling on the shoulders. The throne decoration as well as the necklace around the goddess’ neck are painted.
Preserved are the white slip that covered the whole figurine, as well as black and red paint.
