The face is oval shaped, the eyes large with pronounced eyelids and pupils rendered with colour. On her head she wears a ribbon and sakkos which leaves the hair surrounding the forehead uncovered. Her neck is long with a smooth and flat underside, possibly for the insertion of the head in a figurine's body or a bust. White slip and traces of black and pink colour are preserved all over the head’s surface.
