The head belongs to a clay figurine of a woman and was found during excavations on the Acropolis.

The woman has an oval face, large eyes, pronounced eyelids and a long and thin neck. Her hair is parted in the middle over her forehead and then gathered in a bun and covered with a sakkos. Traces of white slip are preserved on the figurine’s surface.
