Music, dance and the Acropolis

Music is an integral part of human nature. In ancient Athens, music accompanied religious rituals and often defined the various movements of dance ceremonies. Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the role of these arts on the Acropolis and attempt to understand sounds and movements in the presence of ancient depictions of musicians and dancers.
