Could you imagine listening to an ancient lyre or blowing into a flute from the time of the ancients? Through an interactive narrative, young students discover the magical world of ancient Greek music. Focusing on selected exhibits of the Museum, they get to know ancient musical instruments, such as the lyre and the flute, and the figures that bring them to life. Together with the archaeologists, children observe, discuss and have fun, with activities in the specially designed educational center, discovering the importance of music in people's lives, from antiquity to the present day.
The program is designed and implemented by the Educational Programs Department of the Acropolis Museum.
