Robert Wilson’s sculpture "La Traviata" in the Acropolis Museum

At the atrium of the Acropolis Museum’s ground floor one can take a look at the light sculpture installation titled ‘La Traviata’, created by the renowned theater artist, late Robert Wilson (October 1941 – July 2025), and donated by the artist to the Museum.

Through his signature use of light, Wilson designed this work of art as a tranquil composition with gentle color transitions and simple light bars around three axes, leaving the on-looker the chance to freely associate their own imaginative universe.
