In the houses of the ancient Greeks … life without TV and internet

Have you ever wondered what ancient neighbourhoods looked like? Streets, houses, rooms and courtyards? How did ancient Greeks cook without electricity? How did they preserve food without using a refrigerator? How did they spend their time without television and internet? What games did the children play? And what kind of materials did they use? Were they more environment-friendly than ours?

Join us for a walk through the ancient neighbourhood beneath the Museum and learn about its differences from modern neighbourhoods. Discover objects that ancient people used daily and compare them with ours.
