Dodona: the oracle of sounds

Dodona is a significant archaeological site in Epiros, north-west Greece, about 22 km southwest from Ioannina. Every week, visitors have the opportunity to ‘travel’ to Dodona, to the temple of Zeus and to discover ancient divination, together with Museum Archaeologist-Hosts, at the temporary exhibition ‘Dodona: the oracle of sounds’.

Information

Greek: every Friday & Sunday, 1 p.m. and every fourth and fifth Saturday of the month, 1 p.m. 

English: every Friday & Sunday, 11 a.m.

French: every last Sunday of the month, 11 a.m.

Duration: 40 minutes

Participation: Limited to 25 visitors per session. For registration, please refer to the Information Desk at the Museum entrance on the same day. The gallery talk is free of charge. Only the admission fee to the temporary exhibition is required. First-in first-served.
