Individuals of the past at the Acropolis Museum

Original representations, ancient written sources and rich visual material will introduce visitors to both unknown and famous existing figures of antiquity. Along with Archaeologist-Hosts they will discover the meaning of the portrait and will uncover distant but also more convincing efforts to represent possibly specific figures from the archaic period till the late antiquity.

Duration: 40 minutes

Participation:  Limited to 30 visitors per session. For registration, please refer to the Information Desk at the Museum entrance on the same day. The gallery talk is free of charge. Only the admission fee to the permanent exhibition is required (5 euros).
