Inspirations. Ancient Greek Art living in Italy

The Exhibition Inspirations. Ancient Greek Art living in Italy has been organized by the Department for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage of Italy, the Acropolis Museum and the Central Institute for the Economic Development and Promotion of Cultural Heritage of Italy and focuses on the influence, reception, and transmission of Ancient Greek Art in Italy, from the Iron Age to the 20th century.

Join the Museum’s archaeologists on a guided tour among thirty-eight masterpieces in ceramic, bronze, and marble, unique works which are travelling outside Italy for the first time. The Exhibition is organized into seven Sections, and the antiquities are arranged in such a way as to highlight the development of ancient Greek art in Italy as a complex procedure of multiple forms of cultural exchanges.
