Korefigurine found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns. The Kore stands frontally and is draped in red chiton over which her white himation is worn obliquely. A tall stephane adorns her head possibly coupled with a head veil. Her hair around the forehead forms locks rendered in relief. The Kore’s right arm is bent at the elbow beneath her bosom holding a small object, a fruit or a flower bud, whereas with her left arm she holds the edge of her chiton.
