What does the Acropolis Museum look like and what do its collections include? Take an online tour of its exhibition areas and get to know unique artifacts, great works of art that come exclusively from the top and slopes of the hill of the Acropolis of Athens, the most important sanctuary of ancient Athens. The students will make a first acquaintance with the building and its architecture, the excavation that spreads at its base, the beautiful archaic Korai, the famous Caryatids and the sculptures of the Parthenon and they will learn about the history and adventures of the rock, which became a global symbol of democracy.
The program is designed and implemented by the Educational Programs Department of the Acropolis Museum.
