Found in 1829 on the Acropolis south slope below the Sanctuary of Pan. The whole relief’s left part is missing.
The scene takes place in a cave. To the left Pan sits on a rock playing the pan-flute. A young man in a short chiton and raised right hand approaches him. He may be Hermes, Pan’s father, who held something indiscernible with his left hand, perhaps a Nymph's hand
