Dodona is a significant archaeological site in Epiros, north-west Greece, about 22 km southwest from Ioannina. Every week, visitors have the opportunity to ‘travel’ to Dodona, to the temple of Zeus and to discover ancient divination, together with Museum Archaeologist-Hosts, at the temporary exhibition ‘Dodona: the oracle of sounds’. The Acropolis Museum is a thematic museum, the collections of which include the findings of only one archaeological site, the Athenian Acropolis. Opened in the summer of 2009, it offers a comprehensive overview of the character and historical course of the Sacred Rock and its slopes. The exhibition units of the Museum are displayed on four levels:

This year we’re waiting for you at the Acropolis Museum, where you’ll find a festive atmosphere especially for our young visitors – with children’s workshops from the Museum’s educational- programs team, Christmas music from the Athens State Orchestra, holiday swing tunes from the spirited band “The Swingin’ Cats” and a special appearance by Greek actor, director, screenwriter and author of children’s books, Karmen Rouggeri, who will narrate fairy tales to children.
