Plants and animals all around ... everywhere

Children will discover the plants and animals hidden on the exhibits or standing in the Museum’s galleries. Through a fascinating travel in time they will get to understand how the ancient Greeks combined their admiration towards nature with their love for art. They will listen to myths and stories for heroes and gods; sacred trees and plants; domestic and wild animals and will learn to respect and protect the habitat in which all those plants and animals live and grow.

The program is created and carried out by the Department of Educational Programs of the Acropolis Museum.
